About The Position

If you’re an experienced RN leader who is adaptable, decisive, and ready to serve communities during critical times, we encourage you to apply and join our Disaster Response Medical Manager Pool. We are building a Disaster Response Medical Manager (RN) Pool to support emergency shelter operations in Charlotte County, Florida (or other areas in the southeastern US) during hurricanes, severe storms, flooding, evacuations, and other declared disasters. Applicants do not need to reside in Charlotte County or in the state of Florida, but must be available to respond with limited notice. This is a temporary, as-needed role. Selected candidates will be placed in an on-call pool and activated only when emergency shelter operations are initiated. Rapid deployment to Charlotte County on short notice is required. The Disaster Response Medical Manager is a licensed Registered Nurse who leads and oversees medical services within shelter environments during disaster activations. This role ensures safe, coordinated, and efficient healthcare delivery for displaced and vulnerable populations in fast-paced, resource-limited settings.
