About The Position

Federated Insurance is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join its in-office team in Owatonna, Minnesota. The Medical Management Representative provides medical consultation for Workers' Compensation, Auto, and Liability claims. The role includes telephonic case management and developing action plans to manage the medical aspects of Workers' Compensation claims. The representative contacts treating medical providers to review diagnoses, treatment plans, and work capabilities, and collaborates with a team to coordinate claim strategies in alignment with medical guidelines and state regulations. The position works Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Hold a valid Registered Nursing license in Minnesota.
Have at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, case management, or medical claims processing experience demonstrating technical, communication, and workload management skills.
Demonstrate proficiency with computers and strong telephone communication skills.
Be able to memorize and recall information quickly.
Be able to retain confidential business and personnel information.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer; Federated will not sponsor employment visas.
