We are seeking a highly detail‑oriented and organized Medical Management Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive on multitasking, managing data accurately, researching, and collaborating across departments. This Medical Management Assistant will process a multitude of variable tasks on a day-to-day basis while maintaining a high standard of accuracy, professionalism, timeliness, and customer service. This opportunity will also manage claim systems information, including changes to vendors and payment information. This opportunity can be located in Sarasota, FL or Lake Mary, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support by managing a high volume of variable daily tasks while effectively prioritizing deadlines.
  • Prepare detailed, accurate monthly production reports and submit them to management within established time frames.
  • Maintain and update claim system information, including claims, provider records, and payment details, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments to resolve issues, support workflows, and maintain efficient operations.
  • Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives as assigned.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by professionally responding to provider and adjuster inquiries via phone and written communication.
  • Research questions and issues thoroughly and provide timely, accurate follow‑up.
  • Utilize training materials, reference tools, and internal systems to support bill processing, reporting, and project work.
