About The Position

An exceptional veterinary hospital, with a dedicated team, is seeking an experienced Medical Lead Veterinarian to provide advanced clinical guidance, support day-to-day medical operations, and ensure superior patient and client care. The ideal leader for this hospital is a veterinarian who excels in clinical excellence, supports team development, and serves as a key bridge between associate veterinarians and senior leadership. This hospital is open to considering experienced veterinarians who are prepared to take on a clinical leadership role, mentoring team members, supporting medical protocols, and collaborating closely with the Medical Director and practice manager.

Requirements

  • Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree (VMD) from an AVMA accredited college or university.
  • Active state license in good standing, or currently pursuing licensure.
  • Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain.
  • A commitment to veterinary excellence and upholding the Principles of Veterinary Medical Ethics.
  • Proven clinical experience, typically 3+ years in general practice.
