Requirements
- A minimum of an associate's degree of science degree in Medical Technology.
- Current MLT (ASCP) or MLS (ASCP) certification.
- Minimum of three years of hospital clinical laboratory experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in most (all) areas of the lab and prior teaching experience at post-secondary level a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and remediation to students in the laboratory setting in support of program faculty and program curriculum.
- Assist lead faculty in classroom instruction of specialized content.
- Provide individual and group tutoring in support of program faculty and program curriculum.
- Develop and prepare competency/practical testing in laboratory.
- Grade competency/practical testing and lab exercises.
- Perform student evaluations in conjunction with lead instructor.
- Collaborate with lead instructors to develop new lab activities to keep program current in the field.
