Our laboratory utilizes state-of-the-art analyzers and performs a comprehensive testing menu including: Clinical Chemistry (Ortho analyzers) Hematology Immunology Infectious Disease Testing Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Day shift (typical daytime business hours) No evenings, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities Your Impact Working under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, you will perform laboratory testing that directly supports the diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care of patients with autoimmune and rheumatologic diseases.

Requirements

  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification or equivalent
  • Experience performing laboratory testing using automated analyzers and manual methods
  • Knowledge of CLIA, COLA, OSHA, HIPAA, and laboratory quality standards
  • Ability to collaborate with physicians and clinical staff
  • Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Clinical Chemistry (Ortho analyzers), Hematology, Immunology, or Infectious Disease Testing
  • Experience with laboratory information systems and electronic medical records

Responsibilities

  • Receive, process, and prepare patient specimens
  • Perform laboratory testing using automated analyzers and manual methods
  • Analyze and accurately report patient results
  • Perform quality control, calibration, and routine instrument maintenance
  • Recognize abnormal or questionable results and follow established laboratory procedures
  • Document laboratory activities accurately within the laboratory information system and electronic medical record
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA, COLA, OSHA, HIPAA, and laboratory quality standards
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure exceptional patient care
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
