Requirements
- Medical Laboratory Scientist: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medical Technology, Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science from an NAACLS accredited program AND; ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- OR - Bachelor of Science degree related to Chemistry, Biology, non-NAACLS accredited Medical Laboratory science, or other clinical healthcare degree AND; 12 semester hours of chemistry (general, bio-chemistry, organic chemistry) AND; 12 semester hours of biology (general, molecular, cell, or genetics) AND; ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
- Medical Laboratory Technologist: Associate's degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an NAACLS accredited program AND; ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist.
