About The Position

The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Registry Eligible performs laboratory testing and analyzes specimens, reporting results according to laboratory protocols and procedures. The work supports physicians in making patient treatment decisions. The position is based at Bethesda Butler Hospital in Hamilton, Ohio, and offers a collaborative environment with opportunities to develop skills, learn, and advance certification.

Requirements

• Associate's degree.
• Up to one year of experience through an internship.
• ASCP or AMT certification, or completion of a technician training program within one year.

Responsibilities

• Analyze laboratory specimens and report results according to laboratory protocols and procedures.
• Prioritize, organize, and manage the quantity of work.
• Maintain accuracy, quality, and completeness of work.
• Complete complex assignments and handle delegated work.
• Use judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Apply knowledge of procedures and quality assurance, including required documentation.
