Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - Internal Medicine Kinston
About The Position
The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) prepares patient specimens as required for laboratory testing. As an MLT, you will perform laboratory testing and monitor test results to assure test quality and validity. You will communicate results in a timely manner, especially those that may be life threatening to the patient. You will also maintain properly documented records of activities, clean and maintain laboratory equipment and environment, and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements
- High School plus 2 years or more of formal training/education or higher (Specify: Medical Laboratory Technician)
- Less than 1 year of experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
