About The Position

Performs a wide range of laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures across multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion services, and point-of-care testing, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results. Responsible for specimen collection and handling, quality control, instrument maintenance, and adherence to regulatory standards such as CLIA. Analyzes and reports test results, troubleshoots equipment and process issues, and communicates effectively with healthcare providers to support patient care. Maintains a strong focus on patient safety, quality assurance, and efficient laboratory operations while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology
Current MLT (ASCP) or equivalent (CLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Minimum of two (2) year experience in a medical lab environment

Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures across multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion services, and point-of-care testing, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results.
Responsible for specimen collection and handling, quality control, instrument maintenance, and adherence to regulatory standards such as CLIA.
Analyzes and reports test results, troubleshoots equipment and process issues, and communicates effectively with healthcare providers to support patient care.
Maintains a strong focus on patient safety, quality assurance, and efficient laboratory operations while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
