Performs clinical laboratory tests according to established procedures of verification, processing, testing, and reporting. This role involves performing quality control procedures, assisting in the delivery of physician reports, responding to technical questions, performing preventive maintenance and monitoring of equipment, maintaining supply inventories, performing venipuncture and specimen collection, assisting supervisors with duties supporting the lab's quality program, and providing teaching and education to students and other personnel. The position requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, the ability to work under direct supervision in a stressful environment, and the ability to meet requirements for "High Complexity Testing Personnel" per CLIA.
