About The Position

Under the direction of the CLS, Department Manager and/or Supervisor, the Medical Laboratory Technician performs laboratory testing in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Laboratory Department and the hospital. The position is with Palmdale Regional Medical Center, a 184-bed acute care hospital in Palmdale, California, part of Southwest Healthcare and Universal Health Services.

Requirements

• Associate degree for Medical Laboratory Technician required.
• Current California State License for Clinical Medical Laboratory Technician required.
• CPI required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician is preferred but not required.
