About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with a minimum of 3 years of experience. First-time travelers are welcome to apply. This role involves work in the Emergency Department, Inpatient Care, and Outpatient Services. The laboratory utilizes the Laboratory Information System (LIS) – EPIC: Beaker. The orientation period typically lasts 2 weeks but may vary based on experience. Request Time Off (RTO) requires approval from the manager. The uniform scrub color is red. Free parking is available.
Requirements
- ASCP or equivalent certification
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or in chemical, physical, or biological science
- If military training, must have a high school diploma or GED and completed an official military medical laboratory procedures course of at least 50 weeks duration, holding the military enlisted occupation specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist (laboratory technician).
