Requirements

Associate's Degree (Required)
Up to 1 year experience clinical experience as required by MLT program at a hospital (Required)
Other MLT - Medical Technician - Certified from ASCP American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or American Medical Technologists (AMT) Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

Performing a full range of laboratory tests
Confirming the accuracy of test results
Reporting laboratory findings to the doctors, pathologists, or other physicians
Operating and maintaining a variety of laboratory instruments
Utilizing laboratory computer system in performance of duties
Maintaining strict adherence to established policies and procedures
Ability to Prioritize/Organize/Handle Quantity of Work
Accuracy/Quality/Completeness of Work
Complex Assignments Received/Delegated/Completed
Judgement Skills/Problem Solving Skills
Overall Procedure Knowledge/Quality Assurance Knowledge – including documentation as needed
