The MLT or MLS performs a wide range of clearly defined analysis at acceptable levels of competency and on a timely basis. These analyses involve a level of independent judgment as delegated by the supervisor compatible with the level of acquired expertise. The employee performs routine laboratory procedures carefully and conscientiously using predetermined criteria and reports unusual conditions to the supervisor. Proficient and professional communications is required with patients, co-workers and physicians. Performs efficiently and accurately when assisting or carrying out physician orders, including appropriate documentation. Be knowledgeable of resources available within the clinic and throughout the community to provide optimum medical care to patients and their families. Compensation Hourly wage range for MLT candidates: $26.40 - $33.79. Hourly wage range for MLS candidates: $30.52-$41.09. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications and internal equity considerations.
