Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgement regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory, or Military Training Program (An official U.S. Military medical laboratory procedures training course and that the applicant has held the military enlisted occupational specialty of Medical Laboratory Specialist - Laboratory Technician.)
  • 3 years experience in relevant laboratory section
  • Amer Soc Clinical Pathology
