About The Position
This position is for a Medical Laboratory Scientist at UW Health in northern Illinois. The role involves working 90% FTE, with shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm, three days a week. It requires rotating weekends and holidays and will be based at UW Health Belvidere Hospital. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in medical laboratory science (MLS).
- Master's Degree in medical laboratory science (MLS).
- 1 year healthcare or lab related work experience.
- Certification (Medical Lab Science, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, Molecular Biology) by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP)or similar agency preferred.
