Requirements

  • MLS/MLT 1 (CLS 1): Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a NAACLS approved MLT program OR Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry or related science.
  • MLS/MLT 1 (CLS 1): No experience required.
  • MLS/MLT 1 (CLS 1): ASCP or equivalent certification within 24 months of hire.
  • MLS/MLT 2 (CLS 2): Bachelor’s Degree with completion of a NAACLS approved MLS/CLS program OR Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry or related science OR Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from a NAACLS approved MLT program.
  • MLS/MLT 2 (CLS 2): Experience requirements vary based on education: 0 years for Bachelor’s Degree with MLS/CLS program completion or Master’s/PhD in Biology/Chemistry/related science; 3 years for Bachelor’s in Biology/Chemistry/related science; 4 years for Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from NAACLS approved MLT program.
  • MLS/MLT 2 (CLS 2): ASCP or equivalent certification within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic services within various laboratory specialties including Blood Bank, Core Lab (Chemistry, Immunochemistry, Hematology), Cytogenetics, Flow Cytometry & Immunology, Genomics, Infectious Disease Molecular, Microbiology, and Toxicology.
  • Utilize innovative procedures and technology to ensure accuracy in diagnostic testing.
  • Contribute to medical research and advancements in patient care.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of experts and colleagues.
  • Impact patient diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes through laboratory work.
  • Engage in learning, advancement, and specialization within medical laboratory science.
