Medical Laboratory Scientist FT
About The Position
Seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist for a full-time position. This role requires knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science, the ability to perform high complexity testing, and an understanding of the clinical relevance of laboratory testing and reporting. The scientist must maintain records of performance, utilize independent judgment to generate acceptable test results within QC standards, and perform testing according to standard operating procedures. This is an opportunity to work in a Regional, Non-Profit Hospital as part of a multi-disciplinary team within an organization that promotes continued education and growth.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related biological science from an accredited institution.
- ASCP or AMT certification.
- Current students must attain ASCP/AMT certification within 18 months.
- Must meet CLIA '88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel.
Responsibilities
