About The Position

Under the general direction of the Laboratory Director, the employee performs, evaluates and reports results on specimens received for analysis; solves problems, instructs new employees and students, operates instruments and performs maintenance function checks and troubleshooting. Follows the principles outlined in the Compliance/ Integrity Program Handbook and adheres to all regulatory requirements for this position. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related health sciences, or current 3+1 student enrolled in PSHMC MT Program
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or Upon hire
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Medical Technologist, or Upon hire
  • National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Association of Bioanalysts, or Upon hire
  • National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or Upon hire
  • National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists, or Upon hire
  • National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts, or Upon hire
