About The Position
Cascade Medical, located in downtown Leavenworth, is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist II. This role involves performing laboratory procedures accurately and efficiently, adhering to hospital and departmental policies. The Medical Laboratory Scientist II will work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies. This position also involves assisting the Laboratory Director with specific responsibilities. The work schedule is Friday-Sunday, 6 a.m.-6:30 p.m., with an on-call shift on Saturdays from 6:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring a pre-employment drug screen, including THC testing.

- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to work Friday-Sunday from 6 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
- Must be available for an on-call shift on Saturdays from 6:30 p.m.-6 a.m.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for THC.
Responsibilities
- Performs laboratory procedures in a prompt, accurate, and reliable manner according to established and approved hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Works independently and responsibly with minimal technical supervision while being in compliance with all federal, state, and local agencies.
- Assists the Laboratory Director with outlined responsibilities.
