The Pathology Technologist reports to the Pathology Manager and, under general supervision and within established department policies and procedures, performs complex clinical laboratory testing across one or more sections of the Pathology Department. This role requires a professional level of knowledge to accurately read and interpret test results, particularly those that are abnormal or atypical. Key duties include calibrating instruments, performing quality control procedures, and reporting test results.
