As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be fundamental in obtaining, processing, and analyzing biological specimens to aid in patient diagnosis and management. Your duties include setting up tests, ensuring accuracy in specimen handling, and performing both complex and simple lab tests. You will work under pressure and use effective problem-solving skills to adapt to varying conditions and urgent situations. Collaboration with laboratory technologists, supervisors, and healthcare providers is crucial for accurate sharing of findings and enhancing patient care. Additionally, adherence to strict regulatory standards and maintaining a clean and organized work environment are key responsibilities. The Laboratory Services Department at CRMC delivers accurate, timely, and vital diagnostic testing that empowers providers, specialists, and care teams to make informed treatment decisions. Lab professionals are integral to every department of the hospital and clinic, using advanced equipment and stringent quality standards. Requirements

  • Able to provide diploma of highest degree obtained.
  • MLA ASCP Certification within 2 years of hire.
