About The Position
This position has professional responsibilities for planning, performing, evaluating, and reporting CLIA'88 waived testing. This includes preanalytical, analytical and post-analytical functions; performing quality control and quality assurance activities; monitoring supply inventory; blood draws and establishing and/or maintaining communications with health care providers, patients, other hospital personnel and other organizations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- WA State Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Required
- Computer experience required
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions or diagrammatic form
