About The Position
The Medical Lab Technologist Generalist performs routine and complex laboratory analyses and assumes responsibility for procedural and systems controls. The role provides physicians with accurate and reliable analytical results needed for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This position is part of the Lab Evening-Night Float Pool.
Requirements
- Meet one of the following education or qualification pathways: a bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology from an accredited institution; an associate degree in laboratory science (chemical or biological science) or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution; or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting CLIA requirements.
Nice To Haves
- ASCP certification is strongly preferred.
