About The Position

Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Medical Lab Technician (MLT) for their Acute Hospital. This role is crucial in supporting the mission of making communities healthier by performing essential laboratory testing. The Medical Lab Technician will be part of a large healthcare delivery network, Lifepoint Health, and will contribute to providing a broad array of inpatient and outpatient care within a 355-bed acute care facility. Requirements

• Associate’s degree in science Required
• MLT Certified through ASCP or AMT Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs common testing procedures and reports test results.
• Performs instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Performs quality control testing.
• Maintains supplies needed for performance of tests.
