Requirements
- Associate's Medical Laboratory Science required
- MLT certification through ASCP or AMT required
Responsibilities
- Performs routine laboratory testing across various laboratory sections and accurately reports test results.
- Conducts instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Performs quality control testing to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Maintains necessary laboratory supplies and equipment.
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives and continuing education.
- Maintains reliable attendance and adheres to laboratory safety and quality standards.
- Involves frequent computer and data-entry tasks and instrument handling.
- Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting.
- Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
