About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Support Services to perform moderately complex diagnostic tests and limited high complexity testing. This role also involves performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on select laboratory equipment or instruments. A key aspect of this position is to promote a culture of safety for patients through proper identification, reporting, documentation, and prevention of medical errors in a non-punitive environment.

Requirements

Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology.
Education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include 60 semester hours including either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses.

Nice To Haves

One year experience as Medical Laboratory Technician or relevant laboratory experience.
Certification Medical Laboratory Technician by the board of American Society of Clinical Pathologists or similar agency.
