Performs laboratory tests according to current standards of federal, state, and local regulations and District policies and procures. This is a temporary role until 12/26/26. The role involves performing clinical laboratory procedures in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunohematology, immunology, and other areas of the clinical laboratory. Responsibilities include monitoring quality, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, using established protocols with minimal supervision, operating and maintaining instrumentation, troubleshooting equipment and procedures, determining abnormal results, rotating through various lab benches, participating in special projects and new methodologies, and supporting patient safety and customer service principles.
