Starting Pay Range: $29.61/hr – $38.49/hr , depending on experience Position Status: Full-time, non-exempt Shift: Day Shift (participation in on-call rotation) Shift Differentials: Nights = +10% of base wage (after 6pm), Weekends = +15% of base wage Application Deadline: 07/16/2026. Job Summary: Performs a wide range of laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures across multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion services, and point-of-care testing, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results. Responsible for specimen collection and handling, quality control, instrument maintenance, and adherence to regulatory standards such as CLIA. Analyzes and reports test results, troubleshoots equipment and process issues, and communicates effectively with healthcare providers to support patient care. Maintains a strong focus on patient safety, quality assurance, and efficient laboratory operations while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree of Applied Sciences in Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Current MLT (ASCP) or equivalent (CLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Minimum of two (2) year experience in a medical lab environment

Responsibilities

  • Performs a wide range of laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures across multiple disciplines, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, transfusion services, and point-of-care testing, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant results.
  • Responsible for specimen collection and handling, quality control, instrument maintenance, and adherence to regulatory standards such as CLIA.
  • Analyzes and reports test results, troubleshoots equipment and process issues, and communicates effectively with healthcare providers to support patient care.
  • Maintains a strong focus on patient safety, quality assurance, and efficient laboratory operations while participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Retirement Plan: Up to a 3% employer match, which increases with your length of service. New employees are automatically enrolled at a 1% contribution rate (can be opted out). Employees must complete 5 years of employment to be 100% vested.

  • Term Life Insurance: 1 x annual salary term life provided by HHD, no employee premium ($200,000 Max.). Additional voluntary life insurance coverage for the employee and family is an option which can be purchased by the employee.
