About The Position
The Medical Lab Technician 1 position is full-time, working 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The role requires participation in on-call coverage and weekend and holiday rotations. A high school diploma or GED/HSE accredited by the State Board of Education is the minimum education requirement. Enrollment in an accredited MLT or MLS program, or a degree in a health-related life science, is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is required within two years of eligibility, and CPR is required. At least six months of laboratory experience is required.
