Medical Lab Tech PT Days
About The Position
Seeking an MLT or MT for a part-time position with 3 days of 8-hour shifts (6am-2:30pm), requiring every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation (one winter and one summer holiday per year). This role is at Baptist Health Floyd, Laboratory, located in the Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area. The position requires knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Science, skills for high complexity testing, and an understanding of the clinical relevance of laboratory testing and reporting. The individual must maintain records of performance, utilize independent judgment to generate acceptable test results within QC standards, and perform testing according to standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related biological science from an accredited institution
- ASCP or AMT certification
- Current students must attain ASCP/AMT certification within 18 months
- Must meet CLIA '88 standards to be qualified as testing personnel
Responsibilities
