The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) – Hematology is responsible for performing routine hematology laboratory analyses and supporting regulated testing activities in accordance with SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Proficiency with hematology laboratory techniques and regulated laboratory practices
Experience working with laboratory instrumentation and automated systems
Working knowledge of GLP and applicable regulatory standards within a laboratory environment
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate laboratory calculations and data review
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders and communicate clearly

Responsibilities

Perform and document routine hematology analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
Analyze routine laboratory data to ensure procedures are performing within established tolerances
Identify, document, and escalate analytical deviations or unusual results to senior laboratory staff
Prepare and review data for upload into the LIMS system under guidance of senior personnel
Prepare buffers, reagents, and solutions required for hematology testing
Perform calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment as assigned
Support quality investigations, deviations, and corrective actions
Guide entry‑level staff and support onboarding and hands‑on training activities
