Requirements
- Medical Lab Scientist (MLS)
Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue and body fluids using both automated and manual methods.
- Ensure that laboratory procedures and equipment are maintained according to established protocols and standards.
- Performs quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment.
- Warrants accurate, timely reporting of lab test results in order to assist medical staff in patient care.
