Requirements

  • Medical Lab Scientist (MLS)

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of laboratory tests on blood, tissue and body fluids using both automated and manual methods.
  • Ensure that laboratory procedures and equipment are maintained according to established protocols and standards.
  • Performs quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
  • Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment.
  • Warrants accurate, timely reporting of lab test results in order to assist medical staff in patient care.
