Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a CLIA approved program (Biology, chemistry, medical science etc.) required. no experience required. (For Medical Lab Generalist)
- Bachelor's degree in medical Lab Science or MLS certification required. Certification as MLS required within 6 months of employment. (For Medical Lab Scientist I)
- MLS/BB certification required. 2 years in a clinical laboratory setting required. (For Medical Lab Scientist II)
- MLS/BB certification required. 3 years lab experience with 1-year IRL required. 2 years lead/charge experience required. (For Medical Lab Scientist III)
Nice To Haves
- SBB certification preferred. (For Medical Lab Scientist III)
Responsibilities
- Perform high complexity testing in immunohematology, including antibody identification, antigen typing, absorptions, elution, and cross match.
- Review and report test results, participate in investigative studies, participate in quality control, preventative maintenance, and validations.
