Requirements
- Minimum of three years progressive, successful experience in clinical laboratory medicine in the assigned discipline required.
- Bachelor of Science degree OR alternate route of combined education and experience (including grandfathered recognition as regulated by the BOC) required.
- ASCP or ASHI/ACHI certification within nine months of hire date required.
- Individuals who were certified beginning January 1, 2004 maintaining their certification by participation in the ASCP ---Board of Certification (BOC) Certification Maintenance Program (ASCP)CM required.
- Effective communication skills, initiative, teamwork, and flexibility required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in biology, microbiology, virology, molecular biology, or other laboratory related science preferred.
- Specialty certification by a nationally recognized certifying agency in assigned discipline preferred.
