About The Position
Under supervision and direction the Medical Laboratory Assistant performs a variety of laboratory tasks, which require learned manual skills rather than a technological training, to assist the trained technologists in various sections within the Department of Laboratory Medicine.
Requirements
- Grade 12 education or recognized equivalent
- OSMT certified Medical Laboratory Assistant Certificate
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in Anatomical Pathology preferred
- Knowledge of Meditech computer system preferred
