About The Position
Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join their Lab Outreach team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time, day-shift position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional Saturdays. The role involves performing clerical and technical duties related to the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results, communicating results, and responding to specimen-related inquiries from healthcare providers. The position also includes collecting blood specimens and utilizing computer functions. Requirements
- High School Diploma Required

Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
- Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
- Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
- Utilizing computer functions.
