About The Position

This position is for a Medical Interpreter who is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese. Provide accurate spoken language interpretation services in person or other modalities as assigned. Requires advanced proficiency in English and target language, plus knowledge of medical vocabulary to ensure linguistically appropriate care.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in designated language (Cantonese/Mandarin) and English.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience interpreting in a medical/healthcare setting.
• Current knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two (2) years Interpreting in a medical setting.
• Experience with simultaneous interpretation and/or sight translation.
• Advanced medical terminology.
