About The Position

Valley Children’s Healthcare has been a leader in pediatric healthcare for over 70 years. Our CT department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and staffed by exceptional professionals dedicated to providing safe, high-quality care for children. The primary responsibilities of this role involve performing Computed Tomography exams according to department standards in a timely and effective manner, serving inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patient populations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• BLS - Basic Life Support - AHA - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
• Ability to work within a team environment and manage multiple priorities in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

• Program Graduate of a patient care program (CNA, MA, or EMT)
• MA - Medical Assistant
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
• EMT - Emergency Medical Technician
• Minimum six (6) months Pediatric experience
• Bilingual Skills

Responsibilities

• Performing exams in Computed Tomography to department standard in a timely and effective manner as a part of team servicing inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department patient populations.
• Supporting patient care by performing specific technical tasks and support functions as delegated by a licensed provider.
• Managing multiple priorities in a timely manner within a team environment.
