As a Customer Service Engineer I, you will be responsible for servicing CT, Pet CT, and Nuclear Medicine Imaging Equipment in the Louisville/Lexington, KY area. You are in a field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites. You will be responsible for delivering both timely and effective repairs as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance. You will manage financial performance within their territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control and inventory management. You will manage company assets to include a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc. Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma, Technical Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2+ Years of field service experience is desired.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment.
  • Ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel and provide service in assigned geography.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
  • Lifting 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license in the state they reside and may not have any prior DUI/DWI convictions or pending DUI/DWI charges or other serious moving violations (unless such a restriction is prohibited by state/local law).
  • Must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with US export control law.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
  • Experience in testing, repairing and maintaining capital medical equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing CT, Pet CT, and Nuclear Medicine Imaging Equipment in the Louisville/Lexington, KY area.
  • Installing, servicing, maintaining and modifying Siemens’ imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Delivering timely and effective repairs.
  • Providing adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance.
