The majority of new cancer drugs approved in the U.S. in the past five years involved FCS participation in clinical trials. Through a partnership with Sarah Cannon, FCS is one of the largest clinical research organizations in the United States, often leading in initiating research studies and offering new therapies. The community-based clinic in Gainesville is seeking a board-certified/eligible medical oncologist and hematologist to join its team. This full-time opportunity is for a team-oriented, fellowship-trained general medical oncologist and hematologist committed to delivering superior patient and community-centered care.

Requirements

  • Full unrestricted Florida MD/DO License
  • BC/BE (Board Certified/Board Eligible) in Hematology/Oncology
  • Fellowship-trained general medical oncologist and hematologist
  • Rotating rounding/call is required
  • 2027 Fellow Graduates welcome to apply

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outpatient clinics
  • Engage in clinical research
  • Provide chemo supervision
  • Perform in-patient services
  • Offer consultation services
  • Manage malignant cancers
  • Make benign hematology diagnoses
  • Participate in research and clinical trials
  • Perform rotating rounding/call duties
