About The Position

Join Solvita as a Medical Graft Technician in a cutting-edge facility where technology meets healthcare. You will create grafts from living and cadaveric tissue and bone, ensuring each allograft meets the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety. This position, internally titled as a Processing Technician, offers the chance to be at the forefront of medical manufacturing, directly contributing to products for transplantation that save and enhance patient lives. Processing Technicians in our Kettering location work in various areas including Traditional, Cellular, CNC, Dental, and Birth Tissue. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work with living and cadaveric tissue/bone.
  • Requires heavy lifting, continuous levels of standing and is physically demanding.
  • Requires good eye-hand coordination skills.
  • Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Create grafts from living and cadaveric tissue and bone.
  • Ensure each allograft meets the highest standards of accuracy, quality, and safety.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibit high attention to detail and precision in performing tasks and maintaining documentation.
  • Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work within a team setting and possess the ability to receive and follow directions.
  • Report numbers accurately and monitor error control.
  • Work around high magnetic circuits or magnetic fields in some areas of Manufacturing.
