This role is responsible for greeting patients and visitors, checking them in and out, and obtaining necessary documentation. It involves verifying and entering demographic information, obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations/precertification, completing medical record release requests, and scheduling/confirming patient appointments. The position also requires entering, reviewing, and submitting charges for patient procedures and services daily, as well as collecting co-payments and reconciling all daily reports and deposits for accuracy. Additionally, the role provides general office and clerical support to the assigned area.
