About The Position

This role is for a Medical Front Office Assistant at Dell Children's Medical Center in the Academic Child Psych department. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The assistant will be responsible for greeting patients and visitors, managing check-in and check-out processes, and collecting necessary documentation. Key duties include verifying and entering demographic information, obtaining and verifying insurance authorizations, completing medical record release requests, and scheduling/confirming patient appointments. Additionally, the role involves entering, reviewing, and submitting charges for patient procedures and services daily, collecting co-payments, and reconciling daily reports and deposits. General office and clerical support for the assigned area is also a core responsibility.

Requirements

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities
