About The Position

This role is for a Medical Front Desk position within an Imaging Clinic located in Georgetown, Texas. The position is full-time, 35 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The role focuses on providing high-touch patient concierge services, managing front-end revenue cycle operations, orchestrating clinical scheduling and documentation, driving financial accuracy, maintaining data integrity, and providing administrative support to the clinical team.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Previous hands-on experience with AthenaHealth (EMR/EHR) is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in navigating insurance portals and clinical documentation requirements to secure procedural approvals.
  • Solid foundational experience in a medical office setting, with a deep understanding of patient flow and insurance terminology.
  • The ability to provide high-level customer service while managing the administrative demands of multiple clinic providers.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hands-on experience with AthenaHealth (EMR/EHR) is strongly preferred to ensure immediate operational impact.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring every patient and visitor is greeted and checked in/out with professional excellence.
  • Verify insurance authorizations and precertifications to ensure seamless claim processing and reimbursement.
  • Manage patient appointments, confirm schedules, and process medical record release requests with strict adherence to privacy protocols.
  • Enter and audit patient procedure charges, collect co-payments, and reconcile daily reports and deposits for 100% accuracy.
  • Meticulously capture and verify patient demographic information within the EHR system.
  • Provide multidimensional administrative support to the clinical team, ensuring the front office operates with peak efficiency and organizational flow.
