About The Position
The Medical Equipment Specialist supports the day-to-day management, tracking, and maintenance of medical equipment used to deliver patient care. This role ensures that medical equipment is available when needed, properly functioning, and compliant with safety and regulatory standards to support efficient hospital operations.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in Operations Management or a related field
- 4 or more years’ experience
- Working successfully as a team member and autonomously
- Completes assignments with integrity
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated to help drive change
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail oriented and quality focused
- Demonstrates sense of urgency while maintaining composure
- Strong acumen with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other various software platforms.

- Occasional travel required
Responsibilities
- Coordinates equipment repairs with vendors
- Responsible for placing, tracking and communicating doctor onboarding equipment purchases
- Initiates CapEx requisition process in Coupa
- Responsible for annual service contract requisition submission (cleaning, PMs, etc.)
- Resolves minor medical equipment vendor issues
