About The Position

This position is responsible for the delivery, setup, and servicing of home medical equipment. The technician will ensure equipment is functioning properly and provide patient education on its use. The role requires operating a vehicle, managing time effectively, and maintaining clear communication with patients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Mechanical and carpentry skills
• Effective interpersonal, time management, and organizational skills
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of home medical equipment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and service home medical equipment.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Provide patient education on equipment use.
• Operate vehicle and office equipment.
• Regularly sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 80 pounds.
• Clearly communicate (listen and speak) to patients.
