About The Position

TRIMEDX is seeking PRN (as needed) Medical Equipment Sanitizers in the High Point, NC area. This role is crucial in ensuring medical equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use. PRN associates have the opportunity to earn extra money with a flexible work arrangement, primarily working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with potential for additional hours. As a Medical Equipment Sanitizer, you will be responsible for sanitizing, bagging, and transporting equipment, maintaining inventory, providing customer service, and contributing to infection prevention and patient safety within a dynamic hospital environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• A passion for healthcare and patient safety
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to pass a background check & drug test

Responsibilities

• Ensure medical equipment is sanitized, bagged, and ready for use
• Quickly and efficiently transport equipment throughout the hospital
• Maintain and verify inventory levels of medical equipment
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with hospital staff
• Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment, navigating different areas as needed
• Enter occupied patient rooms to complete medical equipment quantity checks
• Play an essential role in infection prevention and patient safety
