About The Position

TRIMEDX is seeking PRN (as needed) support in the Lancaster SC area for a Medical Equipment Sanitizer role. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring medical equipment is clean, safe, and ready for use. PRN associates work when requested, primarily on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with possible additional hours. This role offers an opportunity to earn extra money and enjoy a flexible work arrangement. As a Medical Equipment Sanitizer, you will be responsible for maintaining sanitized, high-quality medical equipment, contributing to infection prevention and patient safety within the hospital setting.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
A passion for healthcare and patient safety
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout your shift
Strong attention to detail and a team-player attitude
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to pass a background check & drug test

Responsibilities

Ensure medical equipment is bagged and ready for use
Quickly and efficiently transport equipment throughout the hospital
Maintain and verify inventory levels of medical equipment
Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with hospital staff
Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment, navigating different areas as needed
Enter occupied patient rooms to complete medical equipment quantity checks
Play an essential role in infection prevention and patient safety
